Today, U.S. Army Veteran Peter Townsend shared this photo of himself helping to assist his son in maintaining their backyard vineyard. He is using an iBOT Personal Mobility Device, donated by the national nonprofit SoldierStrong, which allows him to go places, including on his own property in Pennsylvania, that he would not otherwise be able to go with the use of a traditional wheelchair. This picture underscores the important work that SoldierStrong, and many other reputable veterans service organizations, are doing to better the lives of veterans.
