99% of the population did not serve but they know who all the Fat and boring Kardashians are along with the weird Jenner step-dad. Some are addicted to the E channel and MTV with their dumb reality shows but they never watch the news but they pick up the dumb tabloid.

They know about rock, rap and country stars and the annoying botox wives of city/county and their insecurities. They know about unfaithful celebrities that have drug addictions and low self esteem even though they have money and fame yet they do not know about the services and they complain there is not enough freedom.

They like watching dumb shows that have nothing to do with reality but they don't know that there are Marines and their MEUs (thanks to the support of the USN) on ships waiting for the word hovering around hotspots worldwide, Army Soldiers teaching Iraqis and Afghans how to win and the USAF is patrolling the skies of NATO allies in the Baltics who have no air force against Russia and/or who help save lives with the A-10s destroying ISIL convoys. They don't know about the Coast Guard interdicting drugs on the high seas to prevent the drug cartels and drug gangs (remember gang members are druggies themselves) from making money on the druggies(some, like me, have kids hooked on drugs) that are ruining American families. The Services need to be thanked everyday!

Who Cares if a Kardasian lost 10 pounds. She starved or had surguery. These insecure airheads are not important nor are the insecure druggie celebrities. We should be focused on subject like this NATO summit and not what Ben Affleck is doing or what Bradgelina (the 2 cheaters) are doing. Who cares?

LTC (Join to see) - Very true. I just pulled the humor from it. I honestly knew very little about the Coast Guard until I talked to a retiree a few months. I'm no better once the topic bleeds into politricks.

LTC (Join to see) - here is an unknown Jacqueem. I thank you for showing me a policital rap video that I had not seen before. Here is a rap/punk anti-nuclear war video one from the early 80s. I will have to look at it again in a couple of hours. I am off to Fort Dix now.

Hell they probably could not even name the 3 branches of gov't and the roles they play. Maybe if they could do that they would stop blaming the POTUS for everything. #checksandbalances

I use the phrase "The president is only part of one of three branches and can many times be vetoed and overruled" very tactfully but rarely. It usually stops someone's rant about politricks toward me.

President Obama was partially at fault for much of today's problems. I was talking to another here on RP last night on how General Colin Powell felt betrayed when he put his reputation on the line about Iraq in 2003. He was thrown under the bus by the CIA and given false WMD info on Iraq. Here is what I had posted last night.

- I agree he was screwed over. He was always a good and honest man and was not afraid to disagree with his bosses. He must have a lot of guilt. What he did..went wrong by others that did not worry, like SecDEF Rumsfeld about the 'after' in Iraq. General Shinseki disagreed with Rummy and was retired. Paul Bremmer not listening to the Iraqi Generals after the war. We then were stuck with a bad situation that we started to fix but then President Obama made a promise to leave Iraq before it was stable and look what we have now. ISIL taking MOSUL and Fallujah and threatened Kirkuk. I know ISIL is losing now but the weak infrastructure of Iraq is worse now than probably right after we invaded in 2003. POTUS Obama was too nieve. Others were too and General/Secretary of State Powell must feel like crap thinking that he made the first mistake, Rumsfeld along with Paul Bremmer (to fire most of the Iraqi Military and Civil Servants in 2003) the 2nd and Obama the 3rd and look how messed up Syria, Turkey and NATO is after all the 3 million refugees. He must also regret to support our current POTUS.
