Remove civilians, and add more Veterans and Reserve/NG.

That is a valid point. But it should be military veterans, reserves/NG that have been successful in the transition

CW3 Dylan E. Raymond, PHR - Agreed. I assumed that was implied (ie., more business reps).

CW3 Dylan E. Raymond, PHR awesome read and share. BLUF: it would be interviewing skills and resume writing. It is so important to get this right before you transition.

CW3 Dylan E. Raymond, PHR - Seems legit. By the way, it's easier to ensure someone sees your reply if you tag them by selecting "Reply". Otherwise, sometimes, the others within the subthread won't see your reply uneless they come back to the thread manually.

I will agree with you SFC Davis. I did my SFL in December 2015. You've hit it spot on!

CW3 Dylan E. Raymond, PHR - It is going farelly well. I planned about a year out about what school I was going to attend that would fit my schedule, also a job that would fit my schedule as well. My wife played a huge part with helping me transition. One word of advice, do it a year out, like the program states!

I think first you have to look at the task/ purpose of the program and current metrics such as time from transition to employment or school or starting a business or even unemployment. The program I attended at Fort Itwin focused on resume writing (which were inaccurate) and benefits that were available to Soldiers.
I think if you want to improve the program that you have to determine what effects you desire in your program. The current program is not sufficient but it creates the vision that it is helping Soldiers.

Thank you sir for your feedback. It may be because of the volume of people that is passing through.
