I'm considering reenlisting in the NG after 15 years out. Are there any problems living in one state and serving in another?

According to the National Guard's recruiting website there are 19K vacancies in NC, OR, PA, ID, MT, TN, NV, NY, KS, OH, and SC. There are also a couple of other states with 19D vacancies.
I've got folks in my battalion that travel from neighboring states with a couple that travel from as far as Kentucky and South Florida. It all depends how far you're willing to travel on your own dime I guess.

I see you're with 35th ID, Kansas NG. I'm looking at reenlisting this spring and would like to reclass to armor. I know there's a unit in Lenexa... I'm in Central MO. Do you have any idea what reclass AIT would be? The MO NG recruiter has offered MP, Engineers, and Infantry with a two week reclass. Does that seem right to you?
