Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) ranted to a group of Jewish witnesses about globalism and billionaire George Soros on Wednesday.
At a House Judiciary Committee hearing about free speech and anti-Semitism, Van Drew used his time to insist he could criticize Soros without being a racist.
"I am pro-Israel," Van Drew began. "Yet, I still believe that we shouldn't use these words to try to say, well, if you believe that George Soros is involved in our local elections, because he is, if you believe that he is funding prosecutors and local officials that have a different vision for America than most Americans do, he is, that doesn't make me racist."
He also ranted about a globalist conspiracy to take down the United States as a world power.
"I'm going to tell you what globalism is," he said. "You know, maybe there's some people who are bad people that use it. I was at an event recently, and I spoke, and this has happened to me numerous times, I talked about Americanism, American exceptionalism, and how we are the shining city on the hill. Damn it, I believe that."
Van Drew then polled the witnesses, which included a professor of Jewish studies, an official from the Anti-Defamation League, and several Jewish students.
"I don't find the question relevant to this hearing," one witness said.
"It is very relevant," Van Drew insisted.

George Soros needs we put on trial in israel.
Just because your Jewish doesn't mean you can't be blonde hair and blue eyed. And just because your arab doesn't mean you can't be blonde-haired and blue-eyed.
You can be Catholic and against President Biden and you can be Jewish and against George Soros.
The left likes to use the example that if you are against George Soros, you are racist and that is not true!
He is a piece of crap and should be put on trial, especially as a Jewish holocaust survivor Who loves the death squads of the Palestinians in Gaza.
Not all arabls look like Frank Zappa and not all Jews look like Anne Franke.
