A gay actor’s speech that was canceled over his “lifestyle” is back on at a Pennsylvania school after residents spoke out.
The Cumberland Valley School District’s board voted 5-4 Wednesday night to allow children’s book author Maulik Pancholy, who is gay, to speak against bullying during a May 22 assembly at Mountain View Middle School. The board voted after hearing from residents, including more than a dozen students.

I don't care what you call yourself, or if you are gay or straight. The only people who should be discussing politics with kids, are their parents. It is one thing to discuss the "golden Rule" treat others as you would be treated". If that is the intended speech I don't see a problem with this Actor giving his speech. But it is another if its a politically driven speech to children."I would then have a problem with it". Children are Very Impressionable, and we have no right as strangers to dictate someone else's child's beliefs and upbringing. "with limitation to Abuse, and other very Negative Factors.
