My schedule has never changed. As a kid I got up early, as a teen I got up early, and I still get up early. No matter what time I go to bed I wake up at the same time. Very frustrating. Weirdly, in different geographical locations, I wake up at the same time on the clock no matter where I am.

I think my problem is that for almost 20 years I worked a rotation schedule. 2 Day Shifts (7AM to 3PM), 2 Swings Shifts (3 PM till 11 PM) and 2 Mid Shifts (11PM till 7 AM) My Sleep hasn't been right since I retired.

It is referred to as Circadian Rythum with peaks, transitions and valleys It is personalized to some degree. I suggest that folks keep a log for two weeks to ID their rythum.
