Sleep schedules often change with age. That’s why teens are known for sleeping until noon, while retirees often wake up before the sun.
If you’re getting tired earlier than you want to be, you may be able to blame biology.
Circadian rhythm is the natural process bodies use to control the timing of functions like sleep and appetite. Work schedules, exposure to light and other environmental factors influence this internal sleep clock.
Your circadian rhythm is also responsible for age-related sleep changes. Check out how it affects different age groups and what you can do about it.

My schedule has never changed. As a kid I got up early, as a teen I got up early, and I still get up early. No matter what time I go to bed I wake up at the same time. Very frustrating. Weirdly, in different geographical locations, I wake up at the same time on the clock no matter where I am.

I think my problem is that for almost 20 years I worked a rotation schedule. 2 Day Shifts (7AM to 3PM), 2 Swings Shifts (3 PM till 11 PM) and 2 Mid Shifts (11PM till 7 AM) My Sleep hasn't been right since I retired.

It is referred to as Circadian Rythum with peaks, transitions and valleys It is personalized to some degree. I suggest that folks keep a log for two weeks to ID their rythum.
