Over eight million illegal immigrants will be living inside the United States by September, according to government estimates obtained by Axios.
That's up from six million last September and only three million in 2019—an increase of 167% in the last five years. Texas has dominated border headlines in the last month, but it isn't the only state dealing with border security issues. Border Patrol officials have reported a sharp increase in encounters near Tuscon, Arizona, last weekend—14,000 on Friday and Saturday alone.

SGT Jim Humphrey - I had not heard that high, but some sources I follow and some of that is coming from disgruntle border patrol agents, estimated a few months ago as high as 10 million plus.

SGT Jim Humphrey - No one of the news reports not more than two months ago, was doing a piece on the border and illegals.
