I applied to be a warrant pilot and did not make the list and I am curious on my shortfall.

In summary, I have:
Gt score of 125
Sift score of 56
Master combatives, sere(c), drill sergeant, Esb, ect
solid recommendation from a cw5
1/15 on last ncoer
Senior drill sergeant as ssg
543 acft
Some college credits (grades not the greatest)

I can send my packet if someone is willing, but this is the breakdown.

Sounds like you’re a solid candidate, but couldn’t tell you without looking at your packet. I’d highly recommend adding/changing things to your packet if you were a FQ-NS

I don't know your age but most packets that don't go forward are due to the age restriction.

Did you get to the board interview?

CW5 (Join to see) sorry I should have added that I was board ready. I was just specifying my qualifications, but I received an email today saying I was fully qualified non- select and I just wanted to know based on the information what could I have done to be selected.

Just my opinion as I wasn't there. During the interview, did you have trouble with any of the questions?

Over the years, I've seen a lot of flight school hopefuls that didn't do well with the interview portion of the board. If the board had limited flight school slots, the interview often makes the difference.

CW5 (Join to see) - So it wasn't a traditional board, they had us submit ncoers, college credits, LORs, etc and that is what they based their decisions off of.

SSG (Join to see) - Strange. I'm not sure what the reasoning was. Maybe your college grades were the deciding factor. Flight school has a lot of classroom work and tests.

Don't give up. The Army pilot shortage is real. If you have a passion for the flight program, keep pushing for it.
