Taxidermy club met today (Saturday, 4 May 2024) to mount the coyote. I have a couple photos to share. I'd like to thank A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney for his donation which helped offset the cost of some of the materials we have used the past year for this and other projects. Also, a big thanks to another Veteran on here who has requested to remain anonymous for his donations to the club. Make no mistake about this friends, the only thing I did for this project was skin out the coyote and tan it. I guided them in the mounting, but I did very little otherwise. These two girls did well over 95% of the work. The student in this photo easily did the majority of the work and is even thinking of going into a career in taxidermy. They had an issue with one of the ears; that's why it is carded, to keep in position during the drying process

Look at the detail in the work that was done sewing this coyote's tail up. Amazing!

CPL Douglas Chrysler He seems to be looking over a cliff, and yes, maybe he saw a rabbit or mouse he is eyeing as his next meal!
