Scientists/governments mucking with nature has had disasterous effects, histroically. Introducing invasive species to control another species creates it's own issues. That glass may effect the arctic summer, but what affect will it have on the arctic winter or it's fauna?

lol come on man ! really? you think this is a fix or a feel good spend money on bandage that wont amount to anything other then man trying to get around mother nature? I think the massive dams in china are locking up to much fresh water and causing BIG problems, should be looked into.

I remember what there were damaging effects of microbeads in toothpaste to fish, wildlife and the environment. I fail to see how these reflective glass pieces are not going to have the same effect
