Back 2018 I made LTC/O-5, It was easy to find positions in the Army reserved because the Army reserve was understrength. I'm sure the Army National Guard was understrength as well. When they put the mandate to have the COVID vaccine requirement or leave or get kicked out many chose to get out. Stupid President Biden now allows new recruits to come in to the military.But the ones that were kicked out cannot come back just yet but i'm sure they will under President Trump. The point is that the National Guard is already short of people. There is a really bad retention problem, especially when you have stupid commercials. Showing gay soldiers joining the military. When it should be duty, honor and country. And not virtue signaling to the alphabet. People that is cool to join the reserve component.. Here is an example of Canadian special forces recruiting video. That has nothing to do with the alphabet. People or be cool because we cater to your Alternate lifestyle special needs.

With student loan forgiveness be given to all the idiots who went to the most expensive colleges, Why would anybody want to join the military?If they know that dumb Democrats with no understanding of budgets in the white house will give it away for free for votes?

I retired from the Army reserve in December of 2021. I refuse.

Physically fit for age sixty one. My wife got COVID at the same time that I did. She got it again six months later and I didn't get it a second time. She has 14 years younger than me, but not as good health as I am.
