A soldier is attempting to obtain health insurance for her mother. She refuses to claim her as a dependent because her mother works and earns a good living. The problem is that her mother does not want to be checked for personal reasons. This soldier agreed with her that she would handle the insurance, but she would go to the hospital and she will get medical help. Do you have any recommendations for good insurance companies?

Aetna or Blue Cross Blue Shield are good. I used both back when I was a civilian forever ago.

When looking for a health insurance company, it's important to consider coverage options, a network of healthcare providers, customer service, and affordability. Check out https://www.remedigap.com/medicare-supplements/medicare-plan-n-vs-plan-g/ to find the perfect plan. Another option is to speak with a licensed insurance agent who can help guide you through the process and recommend insurance plans based on your specific situation and needs.

You have to read up on the companies and the policies and is the Doctor/Clinic/Hospital covered as "in network." How much of a co-payment does she want to fork out, what are medication copays. There are a lot of variables in this equation.
