"A civilian worker for the Air Force has been charged with illegally sending secret information about Russia's war against Ukraine through a foreign dating website to a woman claiming to be in Ukraine, officials said.
David Slater, 63, a former Army lieutenant colonel who was working in a civilian role for U.S. Strategic Command, was arrested Saturday, the Justice Department said Monday."

Well...I mean...that's how most people date these days is online dating. That's not the issue. It was him sending someone he's never met classified info thinking it was someone who wanted to date him. Usually when you talk to someone online who says they are in another country, it's a scammer. Even people in the same country can be scammers. I've caught a lot of catfish when I was on dating apps. Pretty easy to figure out when a profile is fake.
