Born in Detroit, reared in Walled Lake, MI. Joined USNR 3 days after 17th birthday. Attended Boot Camp at Great Lakes in summer between Jr and Sr years in HS. Active duty in Oct '61. Married in 1965, have two sons and now 2 grandchildren. After 20 years in Navy and 20 Years in Defense Industry, retired and active in Veteran Associations, i.e VFW, FRA, MOAA and American Legion.
