Bio

I joined the Army in July 2007 as a 94F Computer and Chemical Detection Systems Repairer and went to Basic Combat Training at Fort Knox, KY. Upon completion of BCT I went to Fort Gordon, GA. for Advanced Individual Training where I spent approximately 7 months in school. After completing AIT I attended the U.S. Army Airborne School or "Jump School" at Fort Benning, GA. After attaining my coveted Airborne wings, I proceeded to the U.S. Army Ranger Indoctrination Program or R.I.P. now known as the Ranger Assessment Selection Program or R.A.S.P. I did not complete the school, due to a lack of interest in re-starting the course from day 1 for bleeding through my boot during the final ruck-march. I arrived at Fort Bragg, NC. in 2009 where I served as a 94F in E-Company 1/325th Airborne Infantry Battalion (Red Falcons), 2nd Brigade Combat Team. I deployed to Haiti in 2011 in support of Operation Unified Response a humanitarian aid mission, where I spent the better part of 3 months. Shortly after returning from Haiti I went to Fort Polk, LA. for J.R.T.C. in preparation for a pending deployment to Iraq in 2011 in support of Operation New Dawn. During my 7-month deployment to Iraq, I decided to re-enlist in the Army in a new Military Occupational Specialty and decided on 46Q. In August 2012, I attended the Defense Information School at Fort Meade, MD. to re-class to my current job in the Army. After my schooling at Fort Meade, MD. I then PCS'd to Fort Hood, TX. and currently serve as a Public Affairs NCO with the 14th Public Affairs Detachment, FORSCOM.
