Experienced senior program and project manager as well as leader and manager of same, with a diverse background in the development, product management, production, customer service and field support of software, data management, RF transceiver, wireless, telecommunications, consumer electronic, and Department of Defense systems and products. George is a Senior Program Manager in Products and Technologies at Red Hat, Inc. He actively volunteers as a mentor to engineering grad students at NC State for a Business Strategy and Development course along with his favored networking groups in an attempt to assist people in their job search. Marine Air Traffic Control Systems & Ground (Aviation) Electronics Maint. Officer (MOS' 5950 & 5902)
Deputy Program Manager, U.S. Marine Corps, and later Chief of Production, at the U.S. Air Force Electronics Systems [R&D] Center (Hanscom AFB, MA) for procurement of a multi-service and international (US, UK, France, Italy, Japan…) airborne, seaborne, ground-based and satellite defense data-link system – JTIDS (Joint Tactical Information Distribution System - "Link 16"), produced for the four branches of the U.S. military and thirteen foreign national governments, 1995 to 1997. Led a diverse, cross-functional team and held a Top Secret (TS) security clearance for this position - ending.

Instructor Duty: Designed, constructed, wrote and taught the digital theory course and taught the theory of operation & maintenance for electronic systems at the Marine Corps Air Traffic Control Maintenance Schools, Naval Air Technical Training Center, Memphis, Tennessee 1979 to 1981. Attained the rank of Staff Sergeant prior to selection as a Warrant Officer of Marines - ending.
