I had no Idea that a free gun is this valuable. My Ex Father-in-Law gave me a Colt 1909 Stamped USMC. No Idea what I have.

Yes. It is valuable. Send pictures and all the information to the guy at the American Rifleman. He can appraise it. The 1909 was the model Colt modified to handle the 45APC as the Model 1917 during WW1.
