I just finished my walk, and came home and played cards with my wife. I told her that on my walk I saw the biggest dog I ever saw. It was called an "Irish Wolf Hound." I had never seen one of those before. For some reason it really liked me. It put its paws on my shoulders and towered another five or six inches over my head! I am five foot six.
It licked my face, and I found that spot where their back legs shake and give out. So it rolled over on its belly and I rubbed that for a while. The owner told me that when it stood with its paws on my shoulders. it was just establishing friendly dominance.
I said it already won before it lifted a paw. It was pretty, but holy crap was it huge. I wouldn't want that thing chasing me. I am not exaggerating its size, because when a lady pushed a stroller by us, the little girl inside said: "Look at the pony!"
