We all need to have some stress management tools to cope with the daily things that happen as well as those unexpected crisises. Maybe one or two of these are your regular "go-to's" but it really helps to have a couple of extra techniques in case your usual isn't working or isn't practical at the time.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney Of course I do, I came of age when Commanders' Calls were held in clubs and the beverages flowed freely. Then came the deglamorazition of alcohol and if the CC was even held in a club there was no bartender and they put sheets over the bar.......that's when military life began its downward spiral :-))

I have three go to's: walks, naps, and music. Sometimes in that order.

Sometimes I do the first and third on your list together if I am doing a "mall walk" due to the weather.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Hey Colonel, I could never get that ear thing down to listen to music while moving. I guess because I am autistic. But back when I had my own hips and good knees, I used to go to a gym on rainy days to use the treadmill. And that thing had a playlist right on the machine. Boy, when you listen to music you can really move!
