About 1971 PCS to the 193rd MP Co, 54th Maintenance Gp, Fischback, Germany

I was assigned in April, 1971 with the responsibility of leading a squad sized contingent to guard bunkers inside an exclusion area, positioning Military Policemen in Guard Towers and Access Points. Controlled access to special ammunition bunkers and logged containers in and out of the exclusion area.

Unit history

I have no contact with anyone who previously served there. I did speak with an old administration petty officer who informed me that the 193rd MP Co that I knew had been " stood down " and converted to a supply outfit. I'm not sure of the validity of that info.
