Who is interested in on-line MBA programs for military members and veterans?

Syracuse University has gotten a lot of mileage because it has the inside track on grants from the U.S. Small Business Administration and it administers the Boots to Business program. However, having worked with them, I don't think all of the hype is completely justified.
I wouldn't waste my time with the eight-week entrepreneurship course that they administer through the Boots to Business program. That's a waste of time.
And, they're a bit of a mixed bag as an institution goes. Yeah, they are AACSB accredited -- which is what you should look for when you're looking at business programs. It should be your litmus test before you sign up for any program.
They do offer an online program. But, quite a few other schools do too. They're also ranked #90 by U.S. News and World Report -- which is a bit low:

The other thing you might consider is the cost. Syracuse University is a private school. And, private schools cost a lot more. There are also quite a few public schools who charge a bit less. Some of them are ranked more highly. Some of them have online programs. Some of them waive out-of-state tuition for military servicemembers.
Syracuse University isn't a bad option and I think it's great that you're putting them out there. However, having worked with them, I know they're not the only option out there and I think it's important for people to explore other institutions too.

As i understand it, there are two accrediting agencies for business schools and programs - AACSB and ACBSP, the former being research based and the later teaching based. I think both will expect regional accreditation as well. Both accrediting bodies wold be a benefit. Just my humble opinion.

There seem to be several military friendly MBA programs out there. Believe Quinipiac offers one out of CT as well. Seems worth looking into one of these. Wonder how they rank in return of investment.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully this program is still available once I finish my Bachelor's Degree!
