What your thoughts of the woman in a wheelchair shot in last Friday's attack in Oregon?

If true that is unconscionable for the gunmen to shoot a woman in a wheelchair Sgt Tom Cunnally.
It would have been wonderful to many of us if the area where the gunman executed his victims had concealed carry laws and at least one person in that classroom had been trained to fire their weapon and had confronted the killer before he became a killer. Of course there would be cries from the Progressives about senseless violence and depriving somebody of their rights.
However if the incident did not take place, the POTUS would not have to interrupt his busy schedule to speak about something near and dear to his heart - increased gun control and restricted access to guns.

Your reaction reminds me of an incident on a golf course in Florida. I had been placed with a retired doctor and his wife to play a round. Early on, about the 3rd or 4th hole I was waiting beside my ball for the wife to catch up. After enjoying the scenery for a few minutes I looked back to see what was keeping her and saw her waving another foursome past. I wondered why until she caught up and informed me that they were mafioso. I questioned her judgment only a moment until I considered that each was riding in a separate cart driven by a rather large man (goon?) and caught sight of some hardware in a shoulder holster worn by one. Later, on the back nine, playing alone (the doctor and his wife had exhausted themselves) I encountered the four mafioso again belligerently heckling an older group to get out of their way. How rude I thought. Then I laughed at myself. Jack, you genius, you figured out that mafioso aren't very nice people. Neither was the perp in the Oregon shooting...
