As we're all aware, each of our military service branches has their own stated core values... so, what do they mean to you personally/professionally? How do they impact, shape, or reflect your own leadership style... and/or your decision making? How do they define your organization's culture? Where does your organization's core values stem from... and how do they represent (and apply to) those who serve, have served, and will serve in the future? The idea is to have an informative and professional inter-service discussion on the meaning, history, and significance of modern military service 'core values;' thank you for all that you do, and... see you all in the discussion threads!

I think the most basic of all things is loyalty.   Fidelity to a common cause (freedom) and how we go about that.    Appearance, attitude and commitment.    From 35-10 (probably changed) to customs and courtesies that we all should show each other.   To do that we train.    We know how to fire a mortar,  repair a jet and clean a motor on a ship.

We do not make expectations subjective and political and mince over who and what God might be.    We are not trying to find loopholes to avoid basic regulations and thereby causing a rift in the ranks.

I think we are constructing so many nuances and sidebars that we lose true justice and a sense of order.   Good order has been so often used in the past and should be today.

We are here to keep the peace and be ready for war,  not cow tow to every whim of the civilian sector.  We are not like you for a purpose.  We have loyalty to each other and our cause.
