I think you are giving them exactly what they want. Attention they do not deserve. Stupid stunts like this only hurt the movements that perform them by alienating people who may otherwise have supported their cause.

SSG Ryan R - thanks for the shout out. WE can be emotional or logical. I tend to be logical. Count the bars and count the stars. I am pretty sure it isn't the American flag and probably supposed to represent states where gay marriage is legal. Now you know and can check your hyperbole.

I agree with Cody. Yes, they are all legal; I just don't like them. In a high school classroom I saw an American flag with corporate logos of large corporations in place of the white stars. If modified flags are displayed as art, such as a mural, I have no problem with that either as long as its not a free-standing flag.

I looked at the pictures and understand they are a little different from our American Flag. Instead of having their symbols close to the American Flag why not just make something that is unique to what they are trying to represent. Like Sgt Cody Dumont and LtC Steve Dolgin, I do not like them as they are now.

Instead of viewing these as "disrespectful" to the US Flag, why can't these be viewed as a dual showing of Pride in their team AND in their nation? I have the UNC one and love both my TarHeels and my Country!

Why are there so many posts to try and get people pissed off? The only thing that this flag has that is close to the US Flag is the blue field with stars. There are so many flags that are closer to having everything that the US flag has but they change something and we NEVER here anything about those. Everyone needs to get a grip and stop trying to provoke shit........please.
