There are ten natural laws of information in science. They cover all five levels of information: statistics, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and aprobetics.
1. Anything material such as chemical and physical processes cannot create something non-material.
2. Information is a non- material entity and not a property of matter.
3. Information requires a medium for storage and transmission
4. Information cannot originate from statistical processes.
5. There can be no information without a code. (such as a language)
6. All codes result from an intentional choice and agreement between sender and recipient.
7. The determination 'for' and 'from' a set of symbols is a mental process that requires intelligence.
8. There can be no new information without an intelligent purposeful sender.
9. Any given chain of information can be traced back to an intelligent source.
10. Information comprises the non-material foundation for all technological systems, works of art and biological systems.

SPC Nathan Freeman Raw data can be gleaned information from an unintelligent source. This happens every day in geological activities such as the search for oil and natural gas, mining of minerals, and astrophysics. However the data by itself is useless.
DNA and RNA develop material solutions known as genes, chromosomes, etc every minute in near countless organisms. This process was developed by the Creator of all things.
An intelligent mind is required to process the information in order to glean "intelligence" from the various sources of data. We can program software solutions to help us process vast amounts of information; but, it takes an intelligent mind or several people to develop the software.

Without a code or language, data can't be collected or quantified. This leads back to your assertion of the source of information ultimately coming from the Creator of knowledge.

Nice. First we uave have to broaden what we call information. Black holes have hair means information is preserved in the form of holography. So, if we call intelligent information for this topic, information is always preserved because of the laws of thermodynamics. So, in short an unintelligent source can 'repeat' intelligent information and could then appear to have created it. My spin

A CD player can repeat information but that isn't the same as creating information. SPC George Rudenko

If you didn't know what a CD player was, then you could think it was creating

If it can be verified and substantiated, then sure, why not.
