It was just a question I had floating around not that it matters either way. I look around for an answer but I couldn't find one. I received one when I first enlisted and every year since. I was curious if I commission will receive because I'll be entering a different contract than that of my enlistment or I won't because I have prior service? Let me hear your thoughts!

I am not 100%, but you should be entitled to an initial (and final) clothing allowance upon commissioning, as long as you are on a period of active duty over a certain amount of days.

When I commissioned, I had to request for my initial clothing allowance through finance which I received after completion of BOLC.

1LT (Join to see) - Unless things have changed, officers buy their own clothes. As you're a mustang, you should already have most of the "working" uniforms. Dress uniforms --maybe not. That's why you're getting paid the big-bucks!
