Can enlisted wear the Transportation cap braid or do they need the enlisted cap braid for ASUs?

I'm purchasing a cap from USA Military Medals for my ASU. I'm also using there service to put it together for me. But not sure of the braid I need. I have an inspection coming up and need to get squared away.

If I remember correctly to be in the WWII frame of mind the overseas cap has blue braid for Infantry.

He is right about this. All enlisted wear the same. The Branch Colors on the cap are only for the officers. We also have colors on our shoulder straps and cuffs to denote our Career Field.

Methinks that in the WWII style of uniform the Infantry had blue braid on their overseas caps.
