Myself I am getting organized to effectively help Veterans with some specific issues like homelessness, major diseases and other adjustment issues.

My friends in radio, racing and military want to help and I am getting quite a list of truckers, racers and civilians to help.

This is a massive effort. I want NO money but want agencies like the ALS Foundation and the Shriners Hospitals to help. Kind of like Give Kids the World function for Veterans and their families.

We have also done work at ACE Speedway in Burlington, NC has helped raise food and money for the Alamance Human Society. They took an interest in my plight and I owe it to their help. They were impressed that I wouldn't leave my cat. I have had some strong discussions with the VA but they provided little help asides a case file.

I am also looking to help place veterans in a safe place and that includes veterans who help other veterans and families.

We are in this together. Lastly the point system at RP does have some merit in that we can appeal to local communities and businesses for that help. Too many vets with too many seemingly insurmountable problems but we can do our part too.

I have one friend still sleeping in his van and he has advanced cancer of the lungs. We would talk about the VA and it's limitations and so on. You learn how to survive and it is dangerous.

So again, I want to do more and my part in helping others be inspired to make a difference.

If you would like to know more or how you can help by emailing me here.

Thanks,
