I was told by an active/reserve army recruiter that they have student loan repayment for officers. Is this true? Could someone advise me on this?

It doesn't say anything about officers.

Found another one for you:

https://www.goarmyed.com/public/public_money_for_college-loan_repayment_program.aspx

You may have to click on the "Army Reserves" tab.

If their education benefits the military, I’m for it.

Sir,
For what I have been told, those programs are to get you signed up and sent to OCS (or to go as an enlisted). I don't see why the Army Reserve would pay for your loans if you are already in.
