From Scout.com:

Bruce Springsteen and comedian Jon Stewart were among celebrities at the "Stand Up For Heroes" event on November 10. The event, which honors veteran and which was hosted at Madison Square, is a special ocassion created by the New York Comedy Festival and Bob Woodruff Foundation.

At the same time, a philanthropic organization called "Love the Give" is teaming up with the Bob Woodruff Foundation to raise money for injured service members this Veterans Day, according to a report in the Huffington Post.

"Love the GIVE, a campaign run by the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation, is giving $1 to the Bob Woodruff Foundation each time the hashtag #Give2Veterans is used - on any social network, up to $500,000," the report says.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation, started by the famous television news journalist, is a non-profit designed to offer support and raise money for injured service members deployed after 9/11. The foundation has a particular focus on helping soldiers, marines and service members suffering from traumatic brain injuries and psychological wounds.

Cool Campaign-supporting a great program. It ended on the 17th, but there's another ongoing way to support BWF (and others) here:
