I remember when the ABE LINCOLN galley cooked up dozens of turkeys underway so we felt a bit closer to home. Any other good memories of being with your team while deployed/underway on Thanksgiving?

I remember the Thanksgiving during my last deployment to Iraq in 2006. My company commander and 1SG went through out the company area and rounded everyone up that wasn't working on shift and we all went to the DFAC together and ate. It was nice to have dinner with our secondary family and sure as heck was a lot better than being on the line that night.
