Some what.I didn't have much of a choice but never the less I got what I wanted,being attached to Aviation as gunner in Iraq was awesome.2 different worlds,Infantry,and Aviation.

Not in the least, the recruiter used my mediocre score in mechanics to determine my fate. Six years later, I changed to what I really wanted, communications and electronics.
