US Army Garrison, HQs for the various Armed Forces Recruititng units, wounded transition BN, and I believe a Transportation unit. Of course a CID element.

MAJ Rivera's response is 100% on target. The most likely way for a Regular Army Soldier to be stationed in PR would be with USAREC.

SGT (Join to see) Would you add another query? Where is the 65th Infantry Regiment, I met a fellow who was the first replacement into the 65th in 1952 when they were an activated PR Guard Reg't.

CSM Charles Hayden Passed 7/29/2025 currently the 65th IN Regiment is part of the Puerto Rico NG. After several reorganization’s, I believe only one Battalion (minus) still in service.
