How do you most effectively operate with your leadership when actions demonstrate they care about OER bullets not their soldiers?

When all is said and done, people remember the kind of man you were, not your squeaky clean and impressive record. Too many leaders forget that.

I know it doesn't answer your question, but I understand the frustration with your particular issue.

WO1 (Join to see) - You are the proverbial buffer spring between those who issue the orders and those who execute 'em. Accomplish the mission; Take care of your troops. As a young Lt, if you do nothing more than focus on that, you'll soon enough be a staff officer whom the Lt's can grumble about.
