I am a prior service 2LT. My ORB is not updating correctly. I am currently preparing to leave BOLC. I have contacted the school house S-1 and other admin and after months of waiting nothing has changed. Everyone is unsure of what the problem is. I have submitted my ERB to transfer awards and badges but still no change. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Are you assigned to a unit? If so, once you get there, your S-1 should be able to square you away.

I have contacted my gaining unit S-1 it was something we discussed but she is unsure why it wouldn't be a simple transfer from the ERB to the ORB.

They need to research it for you. The S-1 is supposed to be the SME for all things personnel related. I recommend that if they can't find the correct answer, a call to HRC would be appropriate.

Sir, exactly right. As soon as I came back from IBOLC my commanding officer and acting S1 took care of it.

I will echo what must of my fellow officers have said: wait for your 1st duty assignament to update your ORB. Use this time to update your I Love Me Book since your future S1 will ask for every single piece of document. Don't sweat it, the transition from E to O is mostly admin hectic.

I see you are at FA BOLC. Go to the reception building at Sill, the gal that has your classes files can fix all that while you wait. She was able to take all my USMC awards and update my DD214 and ORB. Just go in, be nice and charming and they will hook you up.

Ha, Jeremy, or you can look at your DD214 with a ASR and NDSM, say it looks good sign and walk out...
