Trivia: Who was the highest ranking General to live on Fort Bliss?

Military trivia. Lets see who if anyone can answer this question. I went by his house while I was there in 1979. He was well known for his actions in WWII.

SFC Simpson. having been stationed at Fort Bliss I would think you should know this. He was a fried of Patton but it wasn't him.
SFC C. Correct. I got to see the house he was living in while I was there in 1979. It was pointed out to us trainees as we were on the way to get our first round of shots. Thank you all for playing.
