What do I do if I have less than 12 months remaining until ETS when submitting a warrant packet?

Hello. I've been working towards putting in a warrant packet since I've arrived at my unit. I project that the time I will be finally submitting my packet Will be early 2017. My ETS date is March 2018. I'd like to figure out what I have to do if this happens to be my case? The usarec website doesn't clarify what to do if an applicant has less than 12 months remaining. Thank you!

S-1/G-1 have nothing to do with reenlistment...this is the Career Counselors/Retention NCO's area.
