Reason I am asking this is because after serving over 11 years as an infantryman, Not a single army school certified me in anything that fell within my expertise. The only way I could get any credit for schooling or training is college, which I am taking advantage of, regardless no certifications? Seriously what is going on here?

Check out the Army Credentialing Opportunities On-Line. Just google "Army Cool". There is a link for MOS 11B. I have not personally signed up for anything, just browsed around and noticed that they do provide opportunities for credentials. Mostly deal with security, investigations, etc.
I know I did not provide the most information but maybe you will find it useful as a stepping stone. Let us fellow grunts know if this or any other programs are beneficial.

I think part of the question becomes what translates to civilian use. Some MOS's translate more easily than others, & infantry it appears is one with some difficulties in that translation.
This is an issue that won't be addressed or solved in the short term, but may be able to be addressed. It will take a coordination effort to batten this one down. I do hope for many soldiers sake that command is willing to look at the issue and seek ways to examine the impact and value of such certifications.

I think it would be beneficial to the military as a whole to have something that could be used. Say with mr coming out with a PSD/CPO/PSS certifications

I agree it would be beneficial. I also think it is a viable way to acknowledge successful accomplishment and proficiency. These things can make a difference in both the short and long term.
