Do you think tensions between the major world players will escalate into a new war?

With everything happening in the Ukraine, Russia signing an agreement to build reactors in Iran, as well as Chinese aggression in the south china sea, are we looking at war on the horizon?
On a side note, how do you think the United States population will react to it, most seem tired of the fighting, and don't understand the stakes.
It worries me, because it doesn't take much to start a major conflict when there is essentially a tinder box waiting for a spark. That being said, if need be, I would gladly re-enlist to ensure that my family and friends were safe.

You nailed this issue on the head. Since you posted this 5 months ago, look at all the insanity that has occurred in the world. Ukraine has Soviet missile moving into the region, ISIS is going full psycho in the Middle East, China is doing their best to build bases of operation in Japan's back yard, etc. I am not impressed with what we are doing to combat these threats, but this horse is being beaten to death.

You are absolutely correct and its just a matter of time. Maybe that's one of the main reasons why we are changing uniforms.
