What would you want to know about 41ST Fires as a newcomer

I am will be joing the 41st Fires BDE team soon and I am looking for some information about the BDE. What are somethings I will need to keep in mind as a new SSG to the unit? I will be working at BDE if that makes a difference. Also any good information to have about Fort Hood? I have been stationed at Fort Drum for over five years now so I expect a drastic change. Please help me out and square me away with the good to have knowledge about the Rail Gunners.
