I want to drop a warrant packet but I'm not sure where to start. What's the first step?

Check out the Warrant Officer Recruiting site. It will give you all the info you need to get started. It will list all prerequisite schools and there are also links to get in touch with your branch's Warrant strength manager. Be prepared for a lengthy process, it can take months to get your letter then a year or more to complete schools. I am currently in the process myself, so good luck!

These are all legitimate places to start. The important thing is to actually start! Start doing your homework by looking at everything on http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/warrant/ . Keep an eye out in your e-mail or the WO recruiting website for the time and location of briefings. Also ensure to set aside a large amount of time to work on your paperwork.
