Not trying to start trouble, just trying to give people something to think about they may not have considered before.

Regardless of who you decide to vote for, always remember that talk is cheap. Instead of voting for a candidate based on what they say, or how great they look or sound on TV, look at their voting record. Those are hard facts where politicians are required to take to go on the record and practice what they preach. Character, integrity, intelligence...these are some of the concerns that should drive your selection. Whatever you do decide to do, educate yourself during the process, and don't be a low information voter.

Thanks for the tip Sir. So if a potential candidate voted for/against something that was seemingly out of character, it would be wise to read the peace of legislation in its entirety to get some insight on the decision. Another possibility would be to simply ask, during election periods candidates typically have a staff readily available to answer questions about policy and the candidates platform.

I will not be voting for anyone who has been in congress over two terms. I do not care about their voting record, I do care about term limits and until that is passed, I will not be putting in the same motards that have already been bought and paid for by big energy corporations and big banks....

In general, I like this approach. The entitlement mentality hardly brings anything positive to the political process these days. However, special interest groups influence and control both sides of the isle. It is not just an issue of corporations and banks.

COL Vincent Stoneking Yes!!! Those nasty little caveats that create voting records. An example some untenable rider or law that piggybacks. We want to get paid and democrats know it.

Their stance on Russia, how they feel about the war on terrorist, and their view of military are very impotent that I think many wont think or ask about

That's a loaded question, there are a few things we could do. Hold seminar's to explain the importance of voting but also the importance of knowing each candidate before you do. Differently give them ways to follow said politicians, wont do any good if we keep them away from information on each one

and way more stuff but honestly the biggest problem is most set it as "useless" or a waste of time to vote. We can show them and inform them all we want on these guys, as long as they believe each politician ever is lying at any point of time, and is destroying this country there is not much we can do.
They need to see that not all politics are pure evil and there is good in the american system

I could not agree with you more Sir. We live in an era of cookie cutter politics, its as if people are scared to put down the script and and educate themselves. I have conversations with folks everyday about politics amongst other topics, but if I dare go into something outside of what Hannity or O'Reilly said on the news that week, I might as well be talking to my feet.

SFC(P) (Join to see) The liberals have hard talking points. They are about as open-minded as a pack of hyenas. After all the corruption and things dems have done to the military and anyone votes for them is just unbelievable to me.
