Love this. I'm unfortunately without soldiers in my duty position but I still have students to lead in the school house. Great quote, too

I think the greatest honor for me is that even though I have been retired for a year I still get calls for advice on a variety of areas from NCOERS to weapon specific questions.

Yes, both personal and professional. I've always made myself available to my Marines because if I can make them better, I am making the Marine Corps better.
