I'm looking to purchase a camelbak to wear out on the flightline and asked my super about it, he said go for it, in fact, he highly encouraged it. So I was planning to get an ABU camelbak but unfortunately they are out of stock. They do have one in "foliage" which to me looks like sage green but I'm afraid the picture color may not do justice to it's actual color and that it may be more OD than sage. I figure if the pack is sage then that is just as acceptable as ABU being that sage backpacks are allowed. Anyway, does anyone own a "foliage" color camelbak or any "foliage" color packs? And is it the same as sage?

Foliage and sage are not the same shade. Close, but not the same.
If they have ACU/UCP pattern, you may look at that instead. The USAF ABU and Army ACU pretty much use the same colors (except addition of blue in USAF uniform).

I probably should get permission from my SQ/CC before I get ACU. But I agree that would work, I see Airmen wearing ACU stuff all the time. Problem is is like to get it before my next drill but I won't see my commander until then! :( May just call Camelbak tomorrow. Thank you for the idea sir!
