Looking to get out of the restaurant industry. What advice do you have?

I'm currently looking for a new job. I need to get out of the restaurant industry because I am getting tired of stressing about whether or not I will be able to pay my bills. My advice starts with a job is a job until a better one comes along. If you have trade experience (electrical, plumbing etc) then I'd lean toward that or maybe a job that offers OJT for it. Trade industries will never go out of style and with do many folks focusing on 4yr degrees they over look how lucrative a trade can be
