Why do we do these things to ourselves, our families, our Soldiers and our Army?

The top enlisted soldier at U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbadenhas been suspended from his job as garrison command sergeant major after “an alcohol-related incident,” according to an Army spokeswoman.

Command Sgt. Maj. Sa’eed Mustafa was suspended Nov. 25 after the off base incident, Anemone Rueger, a spokeswoman for the Wiesbaden garrison, told Army Times in an emailed statement.

MSG,

This is nothing new, believe me when I tell you in all the years I worked the road, you wouldn't believe how many garrison or regimental CSMs were pulled over or taken in for DUI/DWI related infractions that never made any headlines. Many times they never made the blotter or even a written report, I was counseled as a PFC for arresting the garrison CSM on Ft Sill in 1985, only to receive a certificate of achievement and coin from CG a week later for doing my job. It has always been an issue, but it is how it is handled that creates most of the drama and controversy that is the reflection on the military and all involved.
