I'm set to teach freshman Composition in the fall. I'm interested in whether you found writing either helpful or crucial to your job and whether it figures in promotion opportunities. Any info would be helpful for passing on to my students.

SGT Garrett Jeter As an NCO writing is very important, think of those counselings, award recommendations, NCOER's, OPORDs and things like that that you will have to write sometime in your career
