Where is the closest VA facility? Every VA regional hospital has been directed to have a peer support training program. They can give you the best Intel on one on one, groups, etc.

Keep in mind that not all CBOCs might have mental health services. Also be sure to ask if they can help with teleconferencing, if the nearest location is too far.

Service City Facility
VA Medical Center
Biloxi Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System
Jackson G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery VA Medical Center

Community Based Outpatient Clinic
Byhalia Byhalia CBOC
Columbus Columbus CBOC
Greenville Greenville CBOC
Hattiesburg Hattiesburg CBOC
Kosciusko Kosciusko CBOC
McComb McComb CBOC
Meridian Meridan CBOC
Natchez Natchez CBOC
Smithville Smithville CBOC
Tupelo Tupelo CBOC

My local DVA assists with shuttles depending on the facility you use. Don't forget to file travel if you use a POV. You might also fine assistance with local chapter of Wounded Warriors, either in finding or attending of support groups
