I am thinking of putting together a "dummies guide to being IMA", specifically for USAF Reservists. Would anybody know of a good resource/website/blog/Etc. addressing all the many, peculiar and unique things with being IMA.
There is a lot to know, tricks of the trade and many "traps" I would like to steer my subordinate colleagues away from.
Love to hear what you think.....

After 11 years in the Guard, this is my first year as an IRR/IMA Reservist and it's taking some getting used to. Col (Join to see) Here's a good link from HRC that explains IRR really well.

I certainly could have used that guide a few years ago. It would have helped me get a "good year" for points a while back if I had known more about being an IMA reservist.

Flying and fun? We don't let a COL in the Army do either of those things!

Sir, I'm planning to leave my Guard unit for IRR or IMA; was a guide to IMA ever created?
